The Phoenix Convention Center is one of the polling locations designated for the August 2020 Primary Elections for Maricopa County. We are very pleased to host this event for the first time; here are a few things you should know to maximize your experience:

Hours:

July 22 – August 2, Monday-Saturday: 9:00AM – 7:00PM; Sunday 12:00PM – 5:00PM

August 3, Monday: 9:00AM – 5:00PM

August 4, Tuesday: 6:00AM – 7:00PM (Primary Elections Day)

Expectations

The safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. Our team has worked with County Election staff to implement an event plan with safety protocols in accordance to local, state and federal guidelines to protect against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Face coverings are required, and guests will receive frequent reminders to practice social distancing. Additionally, there will be several hand sanitizer dispensers located throughout the building.

Transportation

Getting to the Phoenix Convention Center is easy no matter where you are coming from or how you choose to travel.

There is a dedicated stop on the Valley Metro Light Rail at the Phoenix Convention Center and nearby Valley Metro Bus stops.

Parking

Complimentary parking is available for voters in the Phoenix Convention Center, East Garage, located between 5th and 7th Streets and Washington and Jefferson Streets. Figure 1 (page 2) illustrates travel options to get to the South Building entrance. Voters will need to collect East Garage parking validations from poll workers before exiting the building.
