In anticipation of the first measurable monsoon activity of the season, the city of Phoenix wants to remind residents of the many resources available to help make sure everyone is prepared for whatever the monsoon may bring.

Check in on Phoenix.gov/summer for the latest storm warnings as well as a information from the city of road closures and for the activation of pop-up sandbag locations, as needed. Sand will only be available when there is a definite need and will be dispatched to areas impacted by the storm. When the sand distribution is activated a list of locations will appear on this page. Supplies are limited. You must bring your own bags and shovels.
