Phoenix Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Dump Truck
Traffic will be restricted on Broadway Road after a motorcycle driver was killed in Phoenix Wednesday in a crash with a dump truck.
PHOENIX β A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a dump truck in Phoenix Wednesday morning. Police said traffic in the area will be restricted while an investigation is conducted.
The incident took place near 48th Avenue and Broadway Road around 5 a.m. Witnesses said that a motorcycle was seen speeding through the area before hitting a dump truck, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The 33-year-old motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. In a news release, Sgt. Maggie Cox, spokesperson for the Phoenix PD, said the 63-year-old truck driver did not show any signs of impairment.

In a tweet, Phoenix police said Broadway Road from 43rd Avenue to 53rd Avenue will be closed to traffic for a few hours while an investigation is conducted.
