Phoenix New Year's Eve: Last Minute Ideas If You're Still Looking
Still trying to decide what to do? Patch has some last minute ideas for you.

PHOENIX, AZ – It's not easy to plan ahead. Especially, for your New Year's Eve. Lots of people wait until the last minute, often thinking, well, maybe something better will come along. Well, time's up? You only have a few hours before it's time to ring in the new year. Many restaurants still have open reservations for tonight, some early enough that you can go for dinner and be home in time to watch the ball drop:
1. The Flannel Ball in the Roosevelt Row Arts District downtown. Organizers are urging you to "party like it is 1999." Head on over and watch the pinata drop.
2. The Great Pinecone Drop - Head to The Weatherford Hotel in Flagstaff for what has become one of the state's most established annual events. Drinks, dining, dancing.

3. Grassroots Kitchen and Tap - Christopher Collins' place is celebrating its seventh year and has a well-earned reputation for quality Southern-influenced food.
4. Gertrude's at the Desert Botanical Garden - Named for Gertrude Divine Webster, one of the area's most well-known environmentalists (and the founder of the garden), is a great placed to take your loved one and mark the end 0f 2017 sharing their 32-ounce Tomahawk ribeye.

5. The Market By Jennifer's Restaurant & Bar - The restaurant started by caterer Jennifer Russo is still very much one of the best places to eat in town and there are still reservations. Act quickly while you can or miss you on lamb tacos, fois gras, grilled pheasant, and other delectables.
Wherever you go, have fun, drive safe, and see you next year.
