Phoenix Police Arrest Man, Seize Stolen Weapons

Police ay that Galdino Bautista had several stolen rifles and a .50 caliber machine gun.

PHOENIX, AZ – A Phoenix man who tried to flee from police was caught and arrested on multiple weapons charges. They say that 27-year-old Galdino Bautista had several stolen weapons including a .50 caliber machine gun.

After police spotted a van that had been reported stolen, they followed it to an apartment complex.

As they approached, they say that Bautista gabbed several rifles – including the .50 caliber and an AK-47 – and started to flee. Chased by officers, he dropped guns as he went.

They eventually caught up with him and arrested him.

Officers discovered the guns, several of which were loaded, had been stolen from a local gun store.
