Phoenix Police Head Of Internal Affairs Probed For Misconduct
Commander Paula Veach, the head of the department's Professional Standards Bureau, is on paid administrative leave.

The head of the Phoenix Police Department's Professional Standard's Bureau, better known as internal affairs, is herself being probed for alleged misconduct. Commander Paula Veach as been placed on paid administrative leave while the investigation plays out.
Veach, who has been with the department since 1999, was the subject of a complaint by a male sergeant upset with a presentation she gave on the treatment of women in the workplace.
Before taking over internal affairs, Veach was in charge of the department's Mountain View precinct.
