Phoenix Shooting: Suspect Killed As Cops Serve Search Warrant

BREAKING: A suspect was killed by police as officers served a search warrant near 29th Avenue and Garfield Street, police said.

PHOENIX, AZ — A suspect was shot to death by police officers in Phoenix on Tuesday morning near 29th Avenue and Garfield Street, police said.

The suspect was shot as local police and SWAT officers served a search warrant, police told Patch in a release. No officers were hurt and the suspect died at the scene.

"No suspects are outstanding and the surrounding area is secure," the release said.
