Suspect Down In Phoenix Police-Involved Shooting Monday: Reports
BREAKING: It happened Monday afternoon near North 7th Street and East Greenway Parkway, media outlets reported.
PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix police officers were involved in a shooting and the suspect is down, media outlets reported. The shooting happened Monday afternoon near North 7th Street and East Greenway Parkway, which is located near Deer Valley Village.
Sgt. Vince Lewis told KSAZ-TV it happened on the 16000 block of North 7th Street and that no officers were injured.
News12 reported this is the 50th officer-involved shooting in Maricopa County this year alone. There were 43 all of last year in the county.
