Phoenix Police Zapped Naked Man With Stun Gun; He Died: Report
BREAKING: A man zapped with a stun gun following an attack on a Phoenix police officer has reportedly died.
PHOENIX, AZ — A naked man who was zapped with a stun gun last week following an assault on a police officer has died, according to a report. Police were called to the area of 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road on Monday. Officers found Casey Wells, 40, naked in the street behaving erratically.
Police said they zapped Wells after he attacked a police officer. He was apprehended and hospitalized in critical condition.
Investigators told KSAZ-TV on Sunday Wells had died. A medical examiner will determine exactly how he died.
