Phoenix Suns Say Isaiah Canaan Undergoes Successful Ankle Surgery
Canaan fractured his left ankle Wednesday night during the game against the Mavericks.

PHOENIX, AZ – The Phoenix Suns say that guard Isaiah Canaan underwent successful surgery on Thursday to repair his fractured left ankle. He was injured during Wednesday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
The surgery was performed in Phoenix by Dr. us Armendariz under the supervision of the team's head physician, Dr. Tom Carter.
Canaan is expected to make a complete recovery but no timetable has been set for his return.

Canaan, who signed with the Suns in December, is in his fifth season in the NBA.
He's scored in the double digits ten times since signing with the team and has averaged 9.1 points and four assists.
