Phoenix Virtual Meeting For Northwest Light Rail Extension Phase II Now Live

Valley Metro and the city of Phoenix invite the public to attend an online public meeting for a final update on the Northwest Extension Phase II before construction begins at valleymetro.org/northwest2. The light rail extension will connect to the existing system at the 19th Ave/Dunlap station and head northwest, to the Metro center Transit Center.

The online presentation will include the project’s final design, renderings of project art and information on what to expect during the different phases of construction. In addition to 1.6 new miles of light rail, the project includes upgraded utilities, six new bus pullouts and an estimated 240 new trees along the light rail corridor.
The meeting materials can be accessed at any time from Aug. 19 through Sept. 4, 2020 by visiting valleymetro.org/northwest2.
