PHOENIX, AZ — We can expect this week to be mostly hot, dry and calm in Phoenix, according to a forecast by the National Weather Service. We'll have high temperatures in the 90's and lows in the 60's.

Calm winds and clear skies dominate this week's forecast, according to the NWS, except for Thursday, when we will likely see heavier winds in the afternoon with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 68. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north northeast after midnight.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 99. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 69. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 97. Breezy, with a south wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 65. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 94. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 67. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
