In honor of National Vet Tech Week, we want to shine a light on the exemplary care our dedicated
veterinary technicians provide the animals (big and small) that call the Phoenix Zoo home.
The vet techs at the Phoenix Zoo are integral in the health care of our animals. Technicians help us prepare for and carry out routine exams, run countless diagnostic samples, prepare medications for animals under treatment, help in training animals for voluntary medical procedures like drawing blood, and order all the supplies we need to keep our hospital running.
