Phoenix's Price Kong joins national firm Aprio, bringing 59 years of local experience to a bigger stage
The acquisition, effective June 1, deepens Aprio's Arizona footprint and opens the door to expanded services for Valley businesses.

Aprio, ranked the 20th largest business advisory and accounting firm in the United States, has announced the acquisition of Price Kong, a Phoenix-based firm that has called the Valley home for nearly six decades. The deal takes effect June 1, 2026, and its implications stretch well across the Arizona business landscape and beyond.
Aprio entered the Phoenix metro market in early 2025 with the launch of Aprio Legal, a full-service alternative business structure law firm recently named a “Top 10 Most Innovative Law Firm in Arizona” by AZ Big Media. This acquisition continues to build Aprio’s presence in Arizona and serve a broader suite of clients.
A Phoenix Institution Finds a Bigger Stage
Price Kong is not a newcomer. Founded in 1967, the firm has spent nearly six decades advising some of Phoenix's most ambitious entrepreneurs across construction, dental, healthcare, real estate, and technology. Managing Partner Ross Dietrich leads a team of more than 40 professionals, including six partners — a team with deep roots in the Valley's business community.

Price Kong has long served clients across construction, dental, healthcare, real estate, and technology — industries that make up a significant part of the Valley's economy. That specialization doesn't go away; it becomes part of a firm with national reach and a team of more than 3,200 professionals.
Expanding into cannabis advisory
One notable dimension of the acquisition is what it means for Aprio's service offerings going forward. Price Kong has spent more than a decade working with cannabis operators and related businesses, helping them manage the distinct accounting, tax, and compliance requirements that come with operating in a heavily regulated industry. That experience now becomes part of Aprio's practice for the first time, giving the firm a foothold in a sector it hadn't previously served.

For cannabis businesses, it means access to a firm with both local familiarity and national-scale resources. This combination has historically been hard to come by in the industry.
Moving Forward
With more than 40 professionals, including Managing Partner Ross Dietrich and five additional partners, Price Kong brings substantial depth and experience to Aprio.
