PHOENIX — This Study Hall features a read aloud by Mrs. Acosta, Principal at Ed and Verma Pastor School, science lessons with Brenna Annibale, Kindergarten teacher from Encanto School, Jenny Davey, Kindergarten teacher from Solano School and Ilse Soto, 2nd grade teacher from Cesar Chavez School. Joan Bucklew and Jake Kindion, 3rd grade teachers from Longview Elementary School teach students about germs and they conduct a potato experiment. Natasha Nethero, 6th grade teacher from Sunland Elementary shows students how germs travel. Lastly, 7th/8th grade Science teacher, Caroline Carlson from Irene Lopez School conducts an experiment, “Dish soap versus hand sanitizer in diminishing germs.”
