South Valley Prep And Arts Subject Of Online Threat
In a Facebook message, the school told parents that they can keep kids home on Tuesday.

PHOENIX, AZ – South Valley Prep & Arts receives an online threat, prompting the school to send a warning home to parents. The school notified police of the threat.
"There has been some activity on social media today that makes references to 'shooting up' our school tomorrow," scjool officials wrote on Facebook. "As Administration, we do not take this lightly, however, we cannot find any concrete information to the source of the threat."
School officials said that they are taking precautions.

"Rest assured that all doors are locked, and we will be following all safety protocol as designed by the school," they wrote. "If for any reason you do not feel good about sending your child to school tomorrow, you may keep them home.
"We are taking all immediate measures to make sure that our school will be safe. If you choose to keep your child home, please notify the school of their absence."
