A startup is making an effort in building a system to train our soldiers against any imminent threats.

A phoenix-based company is building a movable target system for military to improve shooting target skills on the moving objects.

Every country is dealing in making powerful weapons to defend and prepare for any upcoming war. World War II has painted a particular picture of thoughts right in our memory that the invincible weapons win the war. But, how could we be so ignorant and forget this very truth - soldiers win the war, soldiers has won every battle. It is the soldiers who sacrifice their life and lead our country to the path of victory. If we want to prevail in future, we need to train our armies. We cannot put a soldier's life on stake, and we need to provide them better arms and ammunition with best training equipment.

Amblem, located in Arizona, has built a first portable moving target system called CAP10Slider, designed especially for military training. Conventional training shooting practice includes fixed target posts where soldier aims and hits either target nailed on the wood or the gongs.

Master Sgt. Derek Perrault, Air Reserve Personnel Center training manager, shoots his pistol during practice at a firing range in Watkins, Colo., Oct. 3.

On the other hand, CAP10Slider moves target post at different speed in accelerated left and right movements. Speed is controllable with manual control panel or using the wireless phone app. The speed of the moving target depicts the real world environment. It helps soldiers to improve muscle memory and shot timing.

CAP10Slider can be combined and channeled into a row of targets to create a practice playground for marksman's training. In real world, a target moves at certain speed and acceleration. Target's physical movements are important aspects of shot accuracy. Fixed target does not provide the training of the real world moving targets where vibrations may occur when aiming under pressure and speed. Amblem fine tuned shock absorbing feature on CAP10Slider to generate minor vibrations making target practice mildly difficult and yet challenging for marksman.

There are other shooting practices that include target in motion -namely, clay shooting, swinging arm, and some unreliable home made target systems. Clay shooting is relatively expensive and does not prepare a soldier for real world scenarios, unless a plane is flying within the range of bullets. Swinging arm targets aren't speed controlled and they usually have rotational motion. Targets in real world don't stand still and rotate. DIY home made target systems are not suitable for training soldiers since they are not designed for military standards. The moving target system made by Amblem is designed to practice leading targets and shooting methods - sustained lead, pull-away, or swing-through method to aim at moving targets. The sense of the speed and distance can be improved with constant practice.

CAP10Slider is the only target system in the market that meets all the design standards to train a soldier. The impeccable target system with outstanding features- manual speed controller , robust structure, shock absorbing features, bullet deflector, 3 hours power bank running capacity, and 350 yard wireless speed control ability. Our soldiers can achieve remarkable shooting skills when practicing the leading targets and its method on the CAP10Slider.
