As storms are rolling through the city of Phoenix, there are plenty of ways to prepare. Grab an umbrella … and review these helpful tips:

Get these digits. If you haven't already, load your phone with important city numbers that can help you, and your fellow residents, in a pinch. More than just calling 9-1-1 in an emergency, the city has multiple resources to address weather-related impacts.

Follow Phoenix on social media. While you might know Phoenix for fabulous Instagram photos (including the weather), social media is a great place to get citywide updates and alerts.
