Trulieve’s Arizona locations support veteran-focused organizations throughout May

Trulieve’s Arizona locations will support veteran-focused organizations throughout May with a statewide fundraising initiative and community events aimed at improving veteran health and well-being.

The company, which operates 22 dispensaries across Arizona, will host a monthlong register roundup campaign benefiting Stop Soldier Suicide (https://stopsoldiersuicide.org/), a nonprofit dedicated to preventing suicide among veterans, as well as The Independence Fund (https://independencefund.org/), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering U.S. veterans through increased mobility, mental health support, and successful community reintegration.

Customers visiting any Trulieve location will have the option to round up their purchases, with proceeds going directly to the organization.

Company representatives say the effort reflects its broader commitment to community engagement. In addition to donations, Trulieve supports local charities through educational initiatives and in-person events designed to address critical issues facing underserved populations.

“Small contributions can add up to make a meaningful impact,” representatives said, noting that collective giving helps fund essential services and resources for veterans in need.

The initiative also includes participation in community events throughout the month. On May 4, Trulieve took part in the Triple M Mayor’s Military Mission 2026 Military Induction Ceremony in Glendale, which honors individuals entering military service.

Later in the month, Trulieve will host an educational event in partnership with Tucson Veterans Serving Veterans focused on cannabis and veteran health. The event, titled “Cannabis and Veteran Health: Exploring Pain Relief, Sleep Support, and Quality of Life,” is scheduled for May 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pima County Kino Veterans Workforce Center.

The session will feature Trulieve Chief Medical Officer Dr. Troutt and representatives from Baked Bros, a veteran-founded cannabis brand.

Company officials say supporting veterans remains a priority, emphasizing that community investment is central to Trulieve’s mission in Arizona.
