Unlicensed Teen Driver Kills Pedestrian In Phoenix

The 17-year-old driver stayed on scene after hitting the man, who was pronounced dead by emergency responders.

PHOENIX, AZ — An teenager driving without a license hit and killed a pedestrian Sunday night in Phoenix, according to reports. The victim was a man, 52, crossing the street, according to the Arizona Republic.

It was around 8 p.m. near 7th Avenue and Roeser Road when the man was crossing the street. Emergency crews arrived to provide aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The teen driver, who was not impaired, reports say, stayed on the scene.
