Voter Registration Deadline Extended In Phoenix

If you haven’t registered to vote for the November 3, 2020 upcoming City of Phoenix Mayor and Council Election you still have time. In this election, voters who reside in the City of Phoenix will elect a Mayor and decide on a ballot measure related to the Alternative Expenditure Limitation (Home Rule). Additionally, voters residing in City Council Districts 1, 3, 5 and 7 will elect Council Members.

To be eligible to vote, a person must be a registered voter and reside within the City at least 29 days immediately prior to this election. Voter registration forms are available at most libraries and government facilities, including the City Clerk Department on the 15th floor of Phoenix City Hall. Registration forms are also available from the Maricopa County Recorder’s office at BeBallotReady.Vote. Those paper forms must be delivered to the Maricopa County Recorder’s office or the Phoenix City Clerk’s office by the deadline.

Voters can register to vote:

  • Online – at ServiceArizona.com
  • In person – with the City of Phoenix, City Clerk Department at 200 W. Washington St., 15th floor, Phoenix, AZ 85003. (By appointment only – please call 602-262-6837 to make an appointment)
  • By Mail – by filling out and mailing in an AZ Voter Registration Form (must be received by the deadline)
