PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix police have arrested a woman in connection with a Friday night disturbance at the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport's Terminal 4. According to police, Hope L. Webber, 53, was taken into custody after she became angry she wasn't allowed to board a plane and made threats, prompting the Phoenix Bomb Squad to respond to the airport.

American Airlines said in an email that employees requested help from police to deal with a passenger on Flight 648 to Salt Lake City shortly before it was supposed to take off.

Parts of Terminal 4 were briefly evacuated. Jon Connor, a filmmaker, told the Associated Press he was walking to his plane when “all of the sudden hordes of people" started walking in his direction.
