Here are the top 3 stories in Scottsdale today:

  1. We told you they were coming, and now they're here! Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town has introduced several guestrooms outfitted with top-notch equipment for exercise and wellness activities while you are away from home. According to the City Sun Times, rooms with the upgrades include a Peloton bike, Theragun Elite Massage Gun, Therabody Wave Roller, and a yoga mat. 2. The city of Scottsdale recently named Lisa McNeilly as Scottsdale's new sustainability director, and she is charged with helping the city craft its first sustainability plan. According to Signal AZ, McNeilly has done this kind of work in Baltimore and UC Berkeley. Mayor David Ortega said, "[She] has the extensive experience and proven track record of enhancing Scottsdale's sustainability initiatives, and I'm pleased to have her lead our efforts." (Signals AZ)
  3. On Saturday, the Tour de Mesa bike event saw Carina Dinu, 7, and Ariana Dinu, 10, raise funds for displaced Ukrainian children. The two rode for almost five hours and finished despite the higher temps. "It was hard," Ariana said. "But I knew I couldn't give up because the children in Ukraine also went through many hardships, and they didn't give up. So, I decided I wouldn't give up." The original goal was $1,000, and through Saturday, they raised over $4,800. (AZCentral.com)
