Due to recent storms, a substantial increase in the amount of material placed out for collection and a labor shortage, Scottsdale’s monthly brush and bulk collection is running behind schedule. The city is doing everything it can to get materials picked up as soon as possible.

For the remainder of October, crews will focus on homes that have curbside brush and bulk service to have all city streets and common areas free of brush and bulk by Halloween. Please do not place items out after crews have collected in your area. Crews will be picking up curbside only in Area 2 the week of Oct. 11, Area 3 the week of Oct. 18 and Area 4 the week of Oct. 25.
The normal brush and bulk collection schedule will resume in November, with the goal of having all alleyways clear of brush and bulk prior to Thanksgiving.

To help crews catch up, please do not exceed existing city guidelines for the size of your brush and bulk pile – 10 feet long, 6 feet wide and 4 feet in height (10’x6’x4’).
