City Of Scottsdale: Scottsdale Traffic Restrictions Sept. 17 - 26

Following are significant road construction projects and traffic restrictions occurring in Scottsdale Sept. 17 - 26. For more information, contact Traffic Engineering at 480-312-7250.

Loop 101 improvement project

The Arizona Department of Transportation is widening and improving Loop 101 from Interstate 17 in Phoenix to Pima Road in Scottsdale. To learn more about the project and upcoming traffic restrictions, please visit ADOT’s project webpage, where you can also subscribe to project alerts. Following are current and upcoming restrictions:

• Westbound Loop 101 will be closed from Pima Road to Tatum Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20, for striping. The closure includes all westbound ramps. Detour on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard/Bell Road or Pinnacle Peak Road. Traffic can re-enter westbound Loop 101 at Tatum Boulevard. 

Eastbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard restricted from 92nd Street to Thompson Peak Parkway

The eastbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard curb lane will be closed from 92nd Street to immediately east of Thompson Peak Parkway 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays Sept. 8 - 27 for boring and placing cable.

Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard restricted from Via Linda to Cactus Road

Multiple lane restrictions will occur on or near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard from Via Linda to Cactus Road 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays Aug. 16 - Sept. 24 for boring.

Lane restrictions at Shea Boulevard and Via Linda (updated)

Multiple lane restrictions will occur at or near the intersection of Shea Boulevard and Via Linda 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays Sept. 10 - 24 for boring.

Lane restrictions on Via Linda from Lakeview Drive to 104th Street 

Multiple lane restrictions will occur on or near Via Linda from Lakeview Drive to 104th Street Aug. 16 - Sept. 17 for utility work. 

Westbound Mountain View Road restricted near 84th Street

Westbound Mountain View Road will be reduced to one lane from 87th Place to Arabian Trail July 19 - Sept. 24 for concrete work. During those same dates Mountain View Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction at 84th Street. 

Camelback Road restricted near Scottsdale Road (new)

Camelback Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between 66th Street and Scottsdale Road 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays Sept. 13 - Oct. 15 for road work. 

Hayden Road restricted between Thomas and Camelback roads (new)

Hayden Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Thomas and Camelback roads 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays through Thursday, Sept. 30, for road work. 

Goldwater Boulevard restricted between Camelback and Indian School roads

Goldwater Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Camelback and Indian School roads 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays Sept. 6 - 30 for road work.

Indian School Road restricted between Scottsdale and Hayden roads (new)

Indian School Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Scottsdale and Hayden roads 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays Sept. 13 - Oct. 15 for road work.

Scottsdale Road restricted near Osborn Road (new)

Scottsdale Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Osborn Road and Second Street 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays Sept. 13 - Oct. 15 for road work.

Eastbound Thomas Road restrictions near Scottsdale Road 

The eastbound Thomas Road curb lane will be closed between 70th Street and Scottsdale Road 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays Sept. 8 - Oct. 1 for boring. 

Westbound Thomas Road reduced to one lane at 61st Place

Westbound Thomas Road will be reduced to one lane at 61st Place Sept. 4 - 24 for utility work. During those same dates 61st Place will be closed in both directions at Thomas Road 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

McDowell Road restricted between Scottsdale and Miller roads

McDowell Road will be reduced to two lanes in each direction between Scottsdale and Miller roads Aug. 26 - Sept. 23 for road work.

McKellips Road restricted immediately west of Hayden Road

Multiple lane restrictions will occur on McKellips Road immediately west of Hayden Road 8:15 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 6 - 20 for boring.
