Scottsdale Senior Centers will resume offering some in-person services In June after being closed for 15 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Reservations will be required to attend, and a limited number of spaces will be available during each reservation slot. Individuals may register for multiple days, but not multiple time slots. Masks are encouraged

Reservations can be made the Friday the week before by calling the Senior Center directly (Granite Reef: 480-312-1700 or Via Linda 480-312-5810), or through Scottsdale's online reservation system: Recreation.ScottsdaleAZ.gov.

Here are the details regarding how Senior Fitness Centers, Open Cards and Billiards will resume services:

Fitness Centers - Reopen Monday, June 21
One hour reservations will be available, with a maximum of 6 people per hour.

Open Cards - Reopen Tuesday, July 6
Two blocks of time will be available daily, with a maximum of 16 people per block - or 4 tables of 4.

  • Granite Reef will offer Open Cards on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Via Linda will offer Open Cards on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Billards - Reopen Tuesday, July 6
Two blocks of time will be available daily, with a maximum of 8 people per block.

 

  • Granite Reef will offer Open Cards on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Via Linda will offer Open Cards on Tuesdays and Thursdays
