- Diane Vaszily is funding The Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center in Scottsdale to the tune of $60,000 —all of it due to being named one of the Cox Conserves Heroes, according to reporting by Fox 10. "I have [done this] for 60 years... promoting, educating about, developing conservation ethic in all places – wetlands to deserts, from oceans to mountains," Vaszily said. "It's just in my DNA." Vaszily won the Western Region, which resulted in a 10K prize, and the following campaign online pulled in another 50K. (Fox 10)
- SkinCeuticals is adding a SkinLab location, in Scottsdale Quarter, according to a report in AZ Big Media. Stephanie Kramer, general manager of SkinCeuticals said in the article, “We are thrilled to announce the launch of SkinCeuticals SkinLab™ by Maffi Plastic Surgery. Visitors can look forward to a relaxing, stress-free environment and a simplified treatment menu." This is their first location in Scottsdale. (AZ Big Media)
- Little information is available about a "suspicious item" that prevented traffic flow at Sky Harbor's Terminal 4 on Sunday morning, according to a report on ABC15.
