‘Dance Moms’ Star Kalani Goldman Opening New Dance Studio In Scottsdale
The former "Dance Moms" star plans to open Khaos Dance Studio in Scottsdale, with auditions underway as construction continues.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A familiar face from reality television is bringing her dance career back to the Valley — this time as a studio owner.
Kalani Goldman, who appeared on Lifetime's "Dance Moms" from 2014 to 2017, announced this week on Instagram that she is opening Khaos Dance Studio near Thunderbird and Scottsdale roads.
The studio is currently under construction, and Goldman has already opened audition submissions for its competition team.

The project is a deeply personal one for Goldman. "Dance has always been my voice when words couldn't explain how I felt," she wrote on social media. "In the studio is where I spent most of my time growing up. It's where I lost myself, found myself, and grew."
She said the studio was built around a philosophy she wishes she had experienced herself as a young dancer: a place where students are pushed to excel without being torn down in the process. "A safe place to be able to grow to your best potential," she wrote.

Goldman said the studio will offer a wide range of programming, from toddler classes and recreational dance to adult programs and a pre-professional competition track.
Goldman, formerly known as Kalani Hilliker, has kept a substantial following since her television days, with 7.6 million Instagram followers and 4.9 million on TikTok.
An opening date for the studio has not yet been announced.

"I can’t wait for next season with our Khaos family. This is just the beginning of something really special," Goldman wrote.
