June Days Returns To Old Town Scottsdale With 30+ Events and Deals
The monthlong Old Town promotion includes more than 30 activities, business specials and returning community favorites.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Old Town is giving residents and visitors plenty of reasons to get out this month.
June Days returns to Old Town Scottsdale with more than 30 activities, promotions and seasonal discounts at local businesses through the end of June.
The annual monthlong celebration is designed to highlight the shops, restaurants, attractions and experiences that make Old Town a destination year-round.

"Old Town is the heart of our community, and this monthlong celebration highlights the unique character, culture and entrepreneurship that make it such a special destination," said Scottsdale City Manager Greg Caton.
Returning favorites include Scottsdale Stadium insider tours, Stories & Sweets and the Tournament of Treats. New this year are the Afterglow Sunset Photo Competition and Global Run Day. The lineup also includes cooking classes, crafting clubs, gardening workshops and ArtWalks, officials said.

One of the most anticipated events is the Tournament of Treats, a friendly competition among Old Town frozen dessert spots. Defending champion Shakes & Cones is back to face off against Original ChopShop, Sweet Dee's Bakeshop, Skoop Premium Ice Cream, Red Canyon Café, Sweet Republic and Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream.
Community members can vote for their favorite throughout June, and one voter will be selected to win a $100 Old Town dining gift card.
The city is also debuting the Afterglow Sunset Photo Competition, inviting amateur and professional photographers to submit photos taken anywhere in Old Town during June. Three winning images will be selected at the end of the month.
Participating businesses encouraging visitors to share sunset views as part of the contest include:

- Cien Agave
- Allegra at The Remi
- LDV Winery
- Boondocks
Over Father's Day weekend, the city will host two Scottsdale Stadium insider tours offering a behind-the-scenes look at the venue.
