Lane Restrictions Coming To Busy North Scottsdale Corridor: What To Know

One lane in each direction will remain open during pavement preservation work on Raintree Drive.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A key north Scottsdale route is about to get a construction makeover.

Drivers in the area should expect lane restrictions on Raintree Drive starting Thursday as crews begin pavement preservation work between Loop 101 and Thompson Peak Parkway.

The project will run from July 16 through July 30 and will require lane restrictions during both daytime and overnight hours.

During the first phase, from July 16 through July 24, crews will work weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. A second phase will move to overnight construction from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly between July 26 and July 30.

Throughout the project, one lane in each direction is expected to remain open on Raintree Drive between Loop 101 and Thompson Peak Parkway.

Drivers should still expect slower travel times, shifting lanes and possible delays while crews are working.
