🌱 Masks In My Sister's Closet + New: Santé + SUSD Construction
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening this weekend in Scottsdale.

Happy Friday, neighbors! Let's get this day started. Here's everything going on in town today.
First, your weekend weather:
It's going to be sunny and pleasant all weekend long. The lows will range in the upper 40s and lower 50s, and the highs will be in the upper 70s. So take advantage of this string of beautiful weather days — enjoy!
Here are the top stories in Scottsdale today:
- Ann Siner is the CEO and founder of My Sister's Closet, My Sister's Attic and Well Suited, and she is making a change in the mask policy at her stores. According to reporting on AZ Family, masked customers who steal in broad daylight are much harder to track if the cameras only catch masked faces. So, Siner moved to protect revenue and continue to promote health and safety. "We are going to ask people who want to want to shop with their masks on to stop at the entrance, where we have a camera, pull their mask down for a minute, so if they want to shoplift later, we have a full picture of their face." (Arizona's Family)
- "My motto is 'let us live to eat and live longer to eat,' and Santé, [a new, upper end, healthy, organic, and sustainable food sourced restaurant] embodies that," said co-founder Nico Doniele. "We wanted to create a beautiful, inclusive restaurant where people with all kinds of dietary restrictions can dine together and enjoy the community and connection we've been missing over the last nearly two years." The AZ Big Media report says that breakfast, happy hour, and dinner will be served beginning Dec. 14 at 15507 N. Scottsdale Rd. (AZ Big Media)
- Pueblo Elementary and Tavan Elementary are about to receive 27.25M in improvements! According to the Scottsdale Independent report, the SUSD schools' construction projects "are two of the last "big" projects of the 2016 bond." In addition, McCarthy Building Company will work on Pueblo Elementary, and Core Construction will take on Tavan Elementary. (Your Valley)
