Here are the top 3 stories today in Scottsdale:

  1. Patch reports that the Monsif family "is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the cause of [Jubi's] disappearance and death and a $10,000 reward to anyone who finds [his] skull." Monsif, Sr. was quoted, "Finding his skull is essential in determining whether there is evidence of foul play as we strongly believe that someone is responsible for what happened to our son." Months following his disappearance, Jubi's remains were found in a canal pump station in Mesa. The undetermined cause of death appears to be why the family has renewed their effort to learn more. 2. Brandon Smith, 32, allegedly attacked a flight attendant on a Sky Train platform at 44th and Washington streets at 2 a.m. Friday morning. Only saying that she was headed to her car, the police did not describe the attack. No further information was readily available regarding the condition of the victim. (FOX 10 News Phoenix)
  3. It's just the first week of Spring, but the City is preparing to cool down the citizenry by getting Scottsdale pools and splash pads ready for safe Summer use. In Scottsdale, the four pools include Cactus Aquatic & Fitness Center, Chaparral Aquatic Center, Eldorado Aquatic & Fitness Center, and McDowell Mountain Ranch Park. City splash pads can be found at Chesnutt Park, Paiute Park, Vista del Camino Park, Florence Ely Nelson Desert Park, and the Quad at Scottsdale Quarter. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
