- Estil Wallace is the founder and CEO of the Cornerstone Healing Center in Scottsdale. The program is four years old, but the in-person rehab facility to battle addiction to opioids is a new addition, according to AZ Family reporting. "People who are hurting that much on the inside, that they are willing to self-destruct with drugs and alcohol, they really feel alone and isolated," said Wallace, a recovering addict. "So, when they meet someone else who can describe the same heartbreak and pain they're experiencing, and it's found a way out, is really how we get inside." (Arizona's Family)
- On Saturday at 9191 E. San Salvador Drive in Scottsdale, the city is sponsoring an electronics recycling event, set for 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. To participate, you will verify residency, such as an ID with a Scottsdale address or a city bill.
