Overnight Paving To Cause Delays On Busy Scottsdale Corridor
Night work runs 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday between Hayden and Scottsdale roads.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Drivers on one of Scottsdale's busiest roads should expect overnight delays for the next month as paving crews move onto Indian School Road this week.
The City of Scottsdale has begun overnight paving between Hayden Road and Scottsdale Road, with crews scheduled to work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.
By scheduling the work overnight, city officials hope to minimize disruptions for daytime traffic along the heavily traveled roadway.

Drivers traveling through the area during work hours are urged to slow down, watch for construction crews and equipment, and allow extra travel time as intermittent delays are possible.
The city has not released details on lane closures or detours and has not announced a specific completion date beyond saying the project is expected to last about one month.
