Here are the top 3 stories in Scottsdale today:

  1. It's called "wellness infused," and it means that top-of-the-line fitness equipment is already in your hotel room. Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town has placed various personal fitness items, including equipment by Peloton and Therabody, into select rooms. "From the moment guests step through our front door, they are greeted by an environment that captures the essence of the surrounding Scottsdale community, so it only made sense to take it a step further and fuse the community's fitness and wellness qualities into these upgraded guestrooms," said Devin Mahoney, general manager and chief enthusiast of Canopy Scottsdale. (AZ Big Media)
  2. The Satanic Temple's first annual convention is this weekend in Scottsdale, and 350 Satanists are expected to descend on Saguaro Hotel. According to Patch reporting, "The conference portion of SatanCon will feature panels and presentations on things like Satanic philosophy, parenting as a Satanist and abortion as a religious right." Chalice Blythe, director of programming for the event, said, "We are essentially showing that we are wanting to establish community ties in Scottsdale," she said. "So, we're making sure that the locals know what we're about and most importantly, what we're not about." (Scottsdale Patch)
  3. According to Patch Reporting, The Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office could not find a cause of death for 'Jubi' Monsif, who went missing in September and whose remains were found in December. The coroner suggested the possibility of drowning but additionally could not rule out myriad other causes. Reportedly, no foul play was seen when the police discovered the body.
