  1. Prop 463 —General Plan 2035 appears to be in Scottsdale's future. Caitlin Sievers, Patch Media staffer, reported unofficial totals by way of the County Clerk's office late Tuesday night: "Yes: 25,209...No: 21,812," Sievers wrote. "According to the city, its new plan would 'serve as the community's new vision and guide for future physical, economic, and social development.'" For real-time updates - click here.   2. Hunkapi Farms, Scottsdale, is giving military veterans and first responders a way to heal, according to reporting on Fox 10 News. "We really utilize the horses to teach and normalize about the stress response in the body, the horses are really attuned to stress, and they are able to dissipate it," said Hunkapi Programs Executive Director Terra Schaad. "It has been a great success." (FOX 10 News Phoenix)
  3. The Scottsdale-based BB Hotels, part of Gurney Resorts, will be joined by Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa following the upcoming sale of the property. According to reporting on ABC15, "Gurney's Resorts... is buying the resort, at 5700 E. McDonald Dr., from Robert H. Castellini, who has owned it since 1992." According to the report, the Sanctuary, known for its views and culinary delights, will be open during an expected renovation after the change in ownership. (ABC15 Arizona)
