Here are the top stories in Scottsdale today:

  1. Seven local art-related organizations have come together to create In Flux. In turn, In Flux has named 13 "new and emerging artists" to create art for the public to enjoy. According to Patch, In Flux pays between $5,000 and $10,000 for their pieces, which will be displayed beginning in June. "The intention of this multi-city partnership is to create connections between community organizations, city governments, local businesses, artists, and audiences, while providing creatives a chance to expand their skills, challenge their creativity, and garner public recognition for their work," In Flux said in a statement. Avondale, Chandler, Glendale, Peoria, Scottsdale, and Tempe will host the pieces. Tap on the source to read more. (Scottsdale Patch)
  2. It snowed on the 10th Tee at Troon this week. According to AZ Central reporting, "cold air caused a freezing effect at a lower elevation than typical, causing a brief but beloved snowfall" at the club and the surrounding area. "For about 20, maybe 30 minutes at most, we had some snow going on," Ryan Martin, an assistant professional at Troon North Golf Club, said. The last reported snow in Scottsdale was January 2021. (The Arizona Republic)
  3. This edition of the Wow House is a $13 million Scottsdale estate in Silver Leaf. Patch notes that the home, located on 20936 N. 109th Place, is 14,478-square-feet. The two guest casitas add 2,318 square feet. The main house has eight bedrooms and 11 baths, an Italian look, and marble throughout. Coupled with stunning views, a pool for diving, and tremendous outdoor living, the house is ready to be seen. (Scottsdale Patch)
