  1. The Scottsdale Memorial for the Fallen will honor 66 United States military members who made the ultimate sacrifice. These heroes include service members from Scottsdale and nearby Native American communities. The new memorial will be dedicated tomorrow, Saturday, at 10:30 a.m. The city invites the public to attend this ceremony on the Memorial Lawn on the east side of City Hall at 3939 N.   2. Precise Polymer Inc. won the grand prize at the Skysong Innovations Startup Challenge! During this annual event, Arizona State University startups pitch their business model, product and market opportunity to vie for a $50,000 convertible note investment. Precise Polymer specializes in 3D printing, with an emphasis on precisely manufacturing polyimides to create complex, efficient, and minimal waste structures. (ASU News Now)
  3. The Scottsdale City Council agreed that Scottsdale's sustainability plan needs at least six months more work. Council members voiced a multitude of concerns with the plan, including the lack of data, lack of cost analysis and need for the plan to be vetted by the public and additional commissions and committees.   4. "Leonardo: The Universal Man" opens today at Scottsdale's Lighthouse Artspace! Da Vinci artwork will be presented through projection and light technology and immersive design. Trevor Wilde, chief executive officer of Scottsdale's Wilde Health Management Group, was named in Barron's annual nationwide list of top 1,2000 advisors, in addition to being ranked as Arizona's top advisor overall.
