First, today's weather:
It's another beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and a high of 87 and a low of 54. Enjoy!
Here are the top stories in Scottsdale today:
- A Nov. 10 letter from the Scottsdale Unified School District addressed allegations that the school board president, Jann-Michael Greenburg, and his father, Mark, created a Google Drive page containing "personal information of several people," according to reporting in the Scottsdale Independent. The letter appeared to distance the district from the page and assured families that student files and records were safe, "Student information and educational records are private and protected in district-maintained, secure information systems to which neither board members nor the public have access." The report states that some constituents are calling for the president and superintendent's resignation — this is a developing story. (Your Valley)
- How far away is far enough? "An exhibit at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts' Center Space gallery explores the many facets of distancing, through the eyes of 17 artists from Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado," according to reporting on KJZZ. The show's genesis is found in the social distancing required by the pandemic. (KJZZ)
- Employment, quality of life, and economy were three factors used in determining the 10 best places for veterans to live, according to KTAR. Wallethub ranked Scottsdale as number three — falling in the top 10 for jobs and quality of life. Other Arizona cities ranking in the top 100 include Chandler, Tucson, Mesa, Glendale, and Phoenix.
