2 Kids Found Dead In Tempe Apartment; Mother Arrested: Police
The woman reportedly flagged down officers and told them she was hearing voices telling her to kill her children, according to a report.
TEMPE, AZ — A mother is under arrest after authorities discovered her two young children dead in a south Tempe apartment Saturday, according to a statement from Tempe police.
Police went to the apartment located near U.S. 60 and Mill Avenue after the woman flagged them down just after 7 a.m. She told them she was hearing voices telling her to kill her children, ABC 15 reported.
When authorities arrived at the apartment, they found a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy dead. Both had obvious signs of physical trauma, according to the report.

The woman was arrested and taken in for questioning. Her name was not released.

Police reportedly had responded to the same apartment earlier Saturday morning for a domestic dispute between a husband and wife, FOX 10 reported. No arrests were made during the first call.
