• Arizona troopers place big rig out of service after noticing load violations (thetrucker.com) — An Arizona Highway Patrol trooper near Tempe recently stopped a big rig on I-10 and found a 60-foot steel beam secured with far too few straps, missing required lights, and driven by a noncompliant driver. Both truck and driver were placed out of service, and troopers are urging anyone hauling oversized loads through the area to double-check safety and lighting requirements.
