• Novus Place adds first retailer, Sparky's Shop (azbigmedia.com) — Tempe residents now have a new spot for ASU gear with the opening of Sparky's Shop at Novus Place, the first retailer in the Novus Innovation Corridor. City leaders and ASU officials say the North Tempe mixed-use district is growing quickly, adding restaurants, apartments, offices and a future Marriott hotel that will further reshape the area around the university's arenas.
