Press release from the City of Tempe:

May 26, 2021

Residents can return to city-operated senior centers and gymnasiums on June 1. Tempe continues to evaluate service offerings to help meet community needs while protecting the health and safety of residents. Due to several weeks of lower COVID-19 cases and increasing vaccination rates, the city believes it can safely reopen all senior centers and gymnasiums located in city facilities beginning June 1. This includes Pyle Adult Recreation Center, Cahill Senior Center as well as gyms and some senior programs at Escalante and North Tempe multi-generational centers. Gyms will also reopen at Westside and Kiwanis recreation centers.
