TUCSON, AZ – ALAN’S SHOES, a Tucson-based retailer of comfort and athletic footwear, will close its two specialty stores on Friday, May 7, 2021 as it pivots to focus more on its core inventories of quality name brands and strengthen its multichannel eCommerce presence. The two stores — SHOE DISTRICT* (aka SHOE DISTRICT NORTH TUCSON) and WIDE WIDE BY ALAN'S SHOES* — will become departments in Alan's flagship store, 6030 N Oracle Rd at W Rudasill Rd. Specialty store staff will transfer within the company to other ALAN’S SHOES locations.
