British Swim School Hosts Open House, Free Swim Lesson

With soaring temps and the summer pool season underway, a new North Tucson swim school is hosting a community Open House this Saturday, June 6 , 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and offering FREE swim lessons for local children.

British Swim School North Tucson is owned by husband-and-wife team Robyn and Kunal Sawant, a woman-owned and veteran-owned business focused on drowning prevention and water safety education.

This is the perfect time to discuss summer water safety with Arizona families as pool activity increases.

According to the CDC, drowning remains one of the leading causes of accidental death for young children, making swim education especially important as summer begins.

“As a new parent and someone with a background in healthcare, I see swim lessons as more than an activity; they’re a critical layer of prevention,” said Robyn Sawant, co-owner. “We want to help families understand that water safety should start early and be part of everyday conversations.”
