Tucson police have been actively investigating what they called "a series of armed robberies" at convenience stores throughout the city, which were committed by a man and a woman. Investigators began looking at a robbery that occurred on the 1600 block of East Broadway (Circle K) where a man entered a store and pulled a knife on the clerk. He demanded money as a woman began stealing cigarettes. The male also stole cigarettes and the two fled the area.
No one was hurt in any of the crimes, police said.
