Arrests Made in Threats Against Tucson Magnet, Mountain View High
Two teens were arrested in separate incidents. One for threatening Mountain View High School and the other involving Tucson Magnet High.

TUCSON, AZ – Two teens were arrested Friday in separate incidents for making threats against local his schools. The schools were Tucson Magnet High School and Mountain View High School.
In the Tucson High incident, a 16-year-old student is charged with making a terrorist threat.
The teen, who is now a student at the school, allegedly sent a threat via text to a student.

Police investigated and determined it was not credible.
School went on as normal and the district sent a note to parents.

In the other incident, the Pima County Sheriff's Department arrested a teen for saying there would be a shooting at Mountain View High School.
The teen, who is a student at the school, called in the threat because he didn't want to go to classes on Friday.
