Beloved Tiger Statue Stolen From Tucson's Trail Dust Town
"He was beloved by children who visited Trail Dust Town," the owners said.

TUCSON, AZ—A metal tiger statue has been stolen from a popular entertainment destination in Tuscon. According to the owners of Trail Dust Town, they desperately want the statue back —no questions asked.
"He was beloved by children who visited Trail Dust Town," staff wrote in a Facebook post. "As if these past few weeks haven’t been bad enough, this is a gut punch to all of us here."
The tiger originally belonged to the late owner of Pinnacle Peak, a popular steakhouse located in Trail Dust Town.

According to Trail Dust Town owners, the tiger is "irreplaceable" and has a long history at the popular tourist destination. Because of Arizona's stay-at-home order, it's not clear when exactly the tiger was taken.
"It’s been so hard with the shut down, and to know someone used it as an opportunity to steal is rough," they told Patch.

Trail Dust Town owners say they care more about getting the tiger back than seeing someone go to jail. They say if the tiger is returned undamaged, they won't press charges.
