Hello! I'm helping out a local research group put together some discussions for people local to the Tucson area. If you're interested in having a discussion about local events with members of your community, this might be for you! The goals of our research vary, our upcoming group will involve a presentation of an incident that happened in Tucson, then discussing with others about it and providing your feedback.

For <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/project/project-management-software" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">MS Project</a> training to be effective it needs to be integrated, applied, and enjoyable. By guiding participants through the construction and use of both sample and actual projects (from your workplace), we have found our training to be both productive, and well received. <h2>Who should take this MS Project Best Practices 102 course?</h2>

This course is for anyone who intends to be involved in planning and/or controlling projects using Microsoft Project. (We have courses available for all versions of Microsoft Project.)

<h2>Where is this MS Project training offered?</h2>

The Microsoft Project Best Practices 102 course is offered on an open-enrollment basis at our Project Management Education Center in <a href="https://consulting.ky/project-management-training/bellevue-project-management-courses/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Bellevue/Seattle</a>, WA, (which also serves Kirkland, Redmond, Renton, Everett, Federal Way, and Tacoma), as well as at our Project Management Education Center in <a href="https://consulting.ky/project-management-training/tucson-project-management-courses/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Tucson</a>, AZ (which also serves the Greater Phoenix area, Oro Valley, and Sierra Vista / Fort Huachuca), and other select locations such as <a href="https://consulting.ky/project-management-training/grand-cayman-project-management-courses/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Grand Cayman</a>.&nbsp; We also provide it on an on-site basis anywhere in the world, and <a href="https://consulting.ky/project-management-training/online-project-management-courses/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">online</a> using live instructors.

<h2>How does it work for live online MS Project training?</h2>

Students log into two web conferencing platforms using either two screens and/or two devices (e.g. PC and phone).&nbsp; This allows the instructor to see the students’ screens as they work in MS Project, and the students to see both the live instructor and the presentation while working in Microsoft Project.&nbsp; Hard-copy manuals and texts are sent to you ahead of time.

By the end of this MS Project training course you will be able to:

<ul><li>Length: 8 hours.</li><li>Style: This interactive course is built around “Step by Step Microsoft Project” by Carl Chatfield, PMP. Fort Lowell Museum

Before Davis Monthan, there was Fort Lowell! This walking tour covers the history of the land, people, and fort structures that played a huge part in the development of modern Tucson during the Apache Wars, America’s longest-running military conflict. This 2-hour leisurely walk is just under a mile. It will feature the adobe ruins of fort structures such as the Quartermasters Building, Officers’ Quarters, Post Barracks and the Fort Hospital. Admission to the museum is included with the tour.
Be prepared to be on your feet. No public water or restrooms are available at the museum, but the park offers fountains and public restrooms (next to the parking lot, by the Craycroft entrance).
Begins and ends at the Fort Lowell Museum.
