Cholla High Threat Not Credible, Student Kept Home From School

The threat, made against Cholla on Tuesday, wasn't credible. Out of caution, the student was still kept home while school went on as usual.

TUCSON, AZ – A student was kept home from school Wednesday after making a threat against Cholla High Magnet School. Officials determined that it wasn't credible and school went on as usual.

Tucson police did have extra officers there out of caution.

"Threats are taken seriously and are a serious crime," Principal Frank Armenta told parents in a message Tuesday night.
